1982 Lincoln Continental Mark IV w/ 302. I used whichever 10w30 or 10w40 was cheapest and Western Auto or WIX filters. I kept that up until the last Western Auto in town closed. I worked for Big A (Auto Value, Parts Depot, Bumper to Bumper, Parts Depot) and our house brand PartsMaster filters were made by WIX so I always used them until I left in 2003.
