If you are happy with OE performance, I would stick with OE.
I look for decent cold bite combined with excellent hot performance w/ little or no fade until extremely high temps. I don't care about dust or rotor wear.
I myself like Project mu B-force, but they have to be hot to work really well. And they dust a lot and wear rotors pretty quickly.
I have had good luck with EBC Bluestuff NDX's, but it seems that based on caliper design, they don't work well for some applications, also lots of dust and rotor wear. I think the dust on these may be corrosive. I have them on two vehicles right now and suddenly on both vehicles the calipers and other metal parts are rusting/corroding.
I also had good luck with the Stoptech street performance pads. Same as above - dusty and wear through rotors pretty quick. Price is right.
I did not like the Hawk HPS, in my application they were scarily ineffective when cold/wet and not great when hot. Other people I have talked to have loved them, so it may also be a vehicle specific trait. I know some cars (some BMW's/Mercedes) will keep brake rotor temp up while driving to maintain braking performance, and can also adjust line pressure or boost to keep pedal feel consistent at temperature extremes.
I don't know what OE pads are like for the Jeep, but if they worked for you, it would be a safe choice.
