Mom's car wanted in on the fun. Even the trip odometer played along. Next time I drive it I need to bring a Swiffer duster.

Yes Subaru had a few years with head gasket issues. I learned the hard way. I did a major service on our 2005 forester at 120k: replaced timing belt, all pulleys and Water Pump; replaced all fluids (coolant, oil, transmission and rear differential, brake fluid) and filters, adjusted the valves with new VC gaskets. Then 2 months later one of the head gaskets started to leak! Engine had to come apart. Bad timing for us but that car was a great vehicle. My only complaint with Subaru has been the gas mileage. But they’ve made strides there too.The Subaru badmouthers need mental health help.![]()
