I not sure I understand your data...

2=200

does that mean cyl #2 reads 200 psi?

did you only check cyl's 2, 4 and 6?

is this a V6 engine?

I recently, last weekend, changed out the 2nd rinse oil in the wifes '96 Camry. It is now running GC green and LC-20.

Comperssion was 2 = 200, 4 = 200, 6 = 203 before.
Compression now 2 = 220, 4 = 211, 6 = 218

Factory specification is 218.

Thanks Frank and Auto-RX, it worked very well I think. John

I'll bet he means that the specific level of compression was reached in 2 compression cycles of cranking, 4, and 6.
In other words, how quickly it came up.

i would imagine having worked on lexus es300's that the 1-3-5 spark plug holes are such an incredible pain to get to that he just checked the ones he could get to. about what i would do. nice compression gain though. good job.

up to 2001, the Es spark plugs are very easy to do. You should be able to do them in about 40 minutes..and that is taking your time too.

Sorry about the confusion, those are the readings for the front bank cyl. As mentioned these are easy to get to. Cyl's 1, 3 ,5 are under the intake and close to the fire wall. John

wow that is very interesting does the butt-dyno sense the gains as well?

This is the wifes car, so I don't have a good feel for the car and can't say I could know if it improved. She is a short trip driver with once a week trip to see the grand kids that is long enough to get the engine warmed up proper.

I do know that this engine is just prior to the start of the known sludgers, thank goodness.

I can also say that it sure runs smooth and quiet.

I check the mileage continuously so this might tell me something. The UOA on this OIC suggest that the condition of the tune of it may be suspect though. I'll post the UOA to the UOA forum later when I get home. John
