im looking at Weber One-Touch Silver 18-1/2 in. Charcoal Kettle Grill in Black $80. any other suggest ? thanks

Does it have to be charcoal?

From personal experience, I can highly recommend Weber Gas Go-Anywhere. $60 at Ace Hardware:

It's super portable, and less mess since you don't have to deal with coal ash. Just bring a couple of those small propane bottles, and you're all set. I've had mine for 5 years now, and it's still working well.

They have a charcoal version of it too, but I have no personal experience with it.

Also, the cooking area is 160 sq in. Not sure if that's big enough for you.

+1. I have a little green weber kettle for this very reason, and I use it at home a lot too, depending upon what Im cooking. It will still fit an electrical heating element if you stack the charcoal right.
