Polish for white car

I used to have a white car and didn't find it that hard to notice wax. Just use decent microfibers and give it a thorough wipe down. Better yet go over it with a quick detailer and you'll be sure to get everything. And use a sealant that is easy to remove. NuFinish is a pain. Try NXT. Applied thinly, it comes off without much effort.

a bit OT:

Sad thing about a white car (which my BMW is) is that no matter what you do, it's a color that never really shines well, and has no real 'impact' on the look, like dark colors...Pretty much all other colors can be made to look great with good detailing, compared with white.

This discourages me from giving my bimmer the detaiiling-love it really deserves..i just do what's needed for protection, and that's it. Other BMW owners love my Alpine White BMW for its color though.

Just like with my Tbird, i gave priority to other aspects (low miles, relatively hard model to find, packages, condition) etc over getting a dark color, which I know would look better....

Only in night time photos can one admire the look of a white car, when it's well-detailed...

I'm going to offer a dissenting opinion on white cars. With the right prep and the right sealant/wax combo, they can be made to look very wet. And they're not a pain in the rear to keep looking good.

White can look good; it isnt going to look as good as black or darker colors. I have a silver car, which a lot of people feel is in the same boat as white and yet it looks really good after being compounded, polished, sealed and wax. The key is the prep work. If you're just going to wax it, and then its looks will not reach its potential. However, if you wash, clay, do a one or two step polish, and then wax, it will look really good.

We agree 100%. I love silver because, unlike black or very dark colors, I don't have to constantly be washing and applying quick detailers just to remove the so obvious dust and slight imperfections, which aren't noticeable on silver but just scream for attention on dark colors. I do have a very dark blue Caravan.
