Please note that currently, members of this site, our neighbors and countrymen, and people throughout the world are dealing with all sorts of ramifications of coronavirus disease/COVID-19 and the SARS-CoV-2 virus. There is uncertainty due to a wide variety of elements, including peoples' day to day life, livelihood, and family matters; economic; political; and others. Meanwhile, there is rapidly changing information, including data analytics, research and findings associated with the virus and disease, governmental activities, etc.
While it may be an interesting topic to some to discuss, often the discussions turn speculative, political, or argumentative. Additionally, rules and expectations established and reiterated in ref. (a) provide the basis for ensuring that BITOG is not a means of disagreement, misinformation, etc., and generally stay within the bounds of the site's purpose. The owner and moderators of this site have authority to remove any and all posts associated with COVID-19 and associated elements, at their discretion. The standing policy for BITOG will be to remove any such posts.
It is recommended that users review ref. (a) and refrain from posting on or discussing COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus, etc. While this site has a broad range of intelligent and insightful users, we want to avoid being a place where concern, drama; or worse, speculative, inaccurate, inconsistent or wrong information is spread, or speculative discussions fuel fear and concern in local and the internet community.
