I've spent enough time on Rennslist and other car forums to recognize and accept that some people have a lot more money than me. Some of them are my clients. If you got a few million sitting in investments earning a good return, then spending an extra 50k on a vehicle isn't a big deal, so they prioritize getting what they like. For some folks dropping 10k is like the average person spending 1k. It's just not impactful given their overall net worth and income level. It's just too much for a car. Cars are depreciating assets, and EVs are "more worser".
