Please recommend a lint-free towel

What are you guys drying your car off with?

Every towel I try leaves little white hairs all over the car . . . and they seem to magnetize themselves to the car too. I have to go over the car after its dry with my microfiber computer cloth if I want to get rid of the lint. I would much rather have a full size towel that doesn't leave a trace of lint to begin with.
 
Adams car care all the way. I picked up a couple of the blue waffle weave towels and they work great, especially on Window cleaning with their glass cleaner. It smells like Gatorade. The absorber that comes In it's own container works well. Wal mart and several other parts stores carry them.
 
waffle weave drying towel is supposedly the detailer's choice; although I think the absorber works OK too.

But if your car is getting staticy and attracting lint, that's a different issue that you need to solve with some quick detailer or using more moisture in your technique.
If it's attracting lint, it's also attracting dust, meaning you're just going to have a dusty and dirty car sooner rather than later.

Waffle weave microfiber from the guy in Hawaii. I do use a leaf blower to get a lot of water off first...

I use a trickle of water from the garden hose to sheet off most of the water. Since my car is coated with Opti-Coat, most of the water sheets right off.

For the small amount of remaining water droplets, I use a super-plush Microfiber and blot very gently. The Uber No Name towels are great:

This will probably leave marring. Most of the bath towels I have seen are not suitable for paint finishes.
 
Chamois is looked down on by some these days, but I like the Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois. Walmart used to carry them, but I haven't needed to buy one in quite a while, so I'm not sure if they still carry them. Amazon has them in the 27 x 17 size for $10.89. It does a great job.
 
I sheet the water off my car, then blot dry using waffle weave microfibers from PakShak and/or the "dry me a river" towel from The Rag Company. No lint, no streaks, no spots, and no swirls.

I still use a lamb skin chamois. I get about ten years out of each of them and they generally dry streak free on the windows.
 
I have tried a number of the pseudo-chamois products over the years and always found them wanting. A detailing enthusiast I know told me that the prevailing opinion is that chamois strips your wax. My experience, after using only real chamois to dry my 1989 Accord (white paint, no clearcoat) for 23 years, was very good. They do require a bit more care than the synthetic materials. I still swear by them. No synthetic substitute has ever dried windows like the real thing. Also, I just wipe the inside of my windows with the damp chamois when I am drying the car and they stay clean - safe for tint film.

If you go this route, soak a new one in a solution of about 25% vinegar/75% water for a few hours and rinse/wring with plain water a few times. You need to get it wet and wring it before each use and then rinse and wring it out after. As I mentioned, it does require care, but I have yet to find a synthesized product that performs better.
 
Hands down the Absorber is the best I've used. One piece of advice is I use a bucket of clean water to flush it out periodically while I'm drying. You'd be surprised that even after the best '2 bucket method' wash some dirt still ends up on the chamois.
 
Absorber XL. I've used it for years. It's larger than the regular Absorber, and has a waffle-weave pattern. +1 to above -- I always use a clean rinse bucket.

For ONR washes, I usually use a large MF drying towel, but some of mine are starting to lint.

Soak the car with the nozzle off of the hose and let it sheet off. Then blast it with a gas powered leafblower. Dab remaining spots with MF towel. Done
 
Waffle weave microfiber from Pak Shak.

Depending on the car and conditions, I may use a water blade then follow with a waffle weave.
