Costco Microfiber Towels Debris Magnets?

Is it that the Costco version microfiber towels accumulate debris, like small twigs, leaves, weed seeds, burrs, ect, or is that a common feature of microfiber towels in general? I use four or so towels drying my car after each wash, then wash them in a dedicated load when I get around to it. If any towels are left outside, they quickly accumulate debris like a magnet, with the debris working their way into the nap of the towel. Are these just cheap low grade towels? Are higher grade towels less prone to accumulate debris?

IMO yes they are cheap....same has happened to me...

How do they collect all this debris, any microfiber will collect debris if left out or dropped on the ground, all my Costco MF towels work great and no debris. :D

I just had a session, picking debris out of all my clean towels. It's amazing how debris manages to work its way into the nap of the towels. I'm happy with the value of the towels. Maybe I'm expecting too much?

My microfiber towels that touch paint never touch the ground and are washed separately and are expensive. The cheap microfiber towels are only used on the interior such as the dash, cleaning glass and door jamb drying. As they wear they become more fuzzy so to speak and would collect debris. I would toss them and treat them like a clay bar and make sure they never hit the ground

Usually when new they will pick up stuff but as you wash then and use them they won't attract as much. Keep them off the ground is key.
