Low temperature pumping viscosity
@ -30°C(MRV), cP 9,500 10 w 30
@ -35°C(MRV), cP 12,900 5 w 30

These numbers are from the Shell synth.data sheet.

It is good ? I want to use this oil in the future (canadian Tire Formula 1)

The numbers look terrible to me, Baveaux.

It makes it hard to tell since 10-30 should be specified ar -25 and 5-30 at -30. Since the centipoise is not specd.at standard temps., it make it very difficult to evaluate.

Curious ratings?

Imho a good 5W-30 should be around 4200 @ 30C and a good 10W-30 Should be at around 4700 @ 25C for cold weather.

Specs at non-standard temps make it difficult to tell.

Mobil 1 5W-30 number's are 12,700 at the same temp. So I guess for cold weather operation this oil is in good company. Did you get any other specs for this oil?

Is is safe to assume that, since the 5w is thinner, the 5w30 if tested at -30C would be less than 9,500?
