Plastic sliver dropped in ATF bottle — use it?

Hey folks, weird question: while opening a new bottle of transmission fluid, a (very) tiny sliver of plastic came free from the cap and fell into the bottle. I used a piece of medical gauze and filtered the bottle but never definitively found the errant plastic.

Would you use or toss the bottle?

If you vote toss, is it okay to combine similar ATF fluids? The bottle I’m using is Liqui Moly but no one around me stocks the stuff. Can I use a quart of something else along with the Liqui Moly?

Use a coffee filter and patience. If you can warm up the fluid it will flow faster.

Easier than a coffee filter. Grab a filter that painters use to fill their guns. Still very fine, but free-flowing.
