Plastic Packaging

As long as they can cut through thick plastic card stock layers your good. My old snips don't really notice it unless it's a thick clamshell type with very strong card stock, then the compound leverage really helps. M18 battery Packaging is EVIL
Those go through plastic and card stock and thick plastic very well. I haven't had to get my Wolff scissors out yet.

I know we have some offset (L shape) scissors made for clam shells - but I’m overseas and not finding them online …
(Moves fingers RH of sharp plastic) …
The other offset is where the handle angles upward …

I will never reach for a utility knife first - unless something is made for just that.
I was a model builder as a young boy. I cut myself with my X-acto knife so many times that my fingers and mind still bear the scars, lol! That's why I gravitate toward shears.
