PL20195 or Wix 1516?

Do we actually know which one of these filters will filter better? I cut a napa gold 1516 open and noticed the bypass valve seats metal on metal... kinda makes me wonder how tight of a seal you have there. But I like the locaion of it, and the coil spring.

It really will not make a difference if you think about how the valve works.The air filter and a sealed intake is what is worth worrying about.
