I'm wondering if Ford and Chevy have corrected their piston slap problem yet. Does anyone with a 2005 or later model still have this problem? It is amazing to me that Ford and Chevy, with their past experience of making millions of V-8s without this problem, should suddenly put out newly designed engines with this common problem. Even more amazing that they continue to put these engines out for years and tell their customers that this defect is normal and they have to put up with it.
