Curious if anyone here has any firsthand experience with the Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3 grand touring all season tires:

TireRack testing suggests they are very refined yet "athletic," which I feel would be a perfect fit for my BMW E90. However, it seems that they don't perform well in the wet, and I'm wondering if it's too much of a compromise for the rainy PNW. Any feedback or experience?
For reference, I will be replacing aging Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus UHP AS tires. Loved how sporty these tires were without compromising NVH, but unfortunately their successor does not come in the required size (225/45R17). I'm also thinking a GT tire is more appropriate with how the car is mainly used now.
