I'll go with that T-Keith. Sure dirt doesn't necessarily show up as sodium or silicon ..but the sand blasting that dirt alledgedy causes would show up if you don't have good air filtration. I've used a K&N and don't have perfect Na and Si numbers (respectable)..but don't evidense any of the side effects that poor AF causes ..so..
