while cleaning up the yard with downed branches and taking them into the woods . I had a T-shirt and a flannel with jeans and work boots . One was on the shoulder blade and the other in the armpit . They were possibly on for about 3 hours . About a year ago I found out I had a history of Anaplasmosis from ordered blood work . Must be it resolved itself . Looks to be a bad year for ticks . I think they're Black legged Ticks ( Deer Ticks ) . So beware !

Anaplasmosis put me in the hospital for 4 days before they figured it out. I came close to death. A simple Doxycycline antibiotic cures it quickly. Anyone who gets bit by a tick to take this drug. You may actually have some resistance to anaplasmosis as evidenced by your bloodwork. But don't chance it..lol. It is not really known.
