If you insist on useing ATF as recomended in the T/Case I would use Redline D4. D4 is more like the older Dex III viscosity but has all the regular Redline ATF goodness we have come to expect. In Red Line products their D6 is thinner like Dex VI. D4 for the win.
What does this hold 2-3 quarts at $15 to $16 a quart of Amazon Red Line D4 is a still. Baring getting water in your t/case you are going to run it 50K to 100K miles so the cost is nothing it is not like we are changing it out 3-4 times a year like motor oil! I just put 6.2 quarts of it in my wifes transmission today!
It does not require Dex VI it recomends Dex VI and that is a big thing to understand. Understanding what it really needs to have to prevent wear opens up the possabilities.
