Yeah, the Toyota 90915-YZZF1 or A1 is the filter for the 4 cyl Camry. Also fits on the current gen Corolla (just put one on today, in fact).

The Purolator L14477 is equivalent length, as well.

The ones for Camary's also fit except most aftermarket brands don't extend the center tube past the length of the standard Corolla size. Probably no biggie

My Highlander uses that same Purolator. Whats so special about it? Is it longer (larger) than the stock OEM?

3614, 4386, 3600 all fit and are oversized...

I persoanlly use the FL400/3600 with no issues

I would love to use a 3614 (or similar). It looked like the gasket hangs awfully close to the edge of the mount when I laid a gasket up on my '03 Corolla. It looked like the filter gasket would extend right to the edge of the mount if not overhang the edge very very slightly. I was also concerned about the slight extra thickness of the filter itself in a Camry application where the filter kind of fits in a well.

try a 4386 equivelent...

it's a normal 4967 but extended

Yeah, the Purolator L14477 is 4386 sized while the L14476 is 4967 sized. Same deal with Wix 1396/1394.

Most filter companies don't make a 4386 size, though... specifying a 4967 instead. Even "fancy" filters like Mobil1, K&N, Amsoil don't make the bigger size.

Funny thing, if you look up a Camry 4 cyl on Fram, it suggests a 4967 instead of the 4386- even though Fram does make the 4386 size.
