Permatex 26346 Hi Temperature Metal Repair ??

Wondering if any of you have experience with this product?

My 1925 Alvis has a one piece integral cast iron inlet/exhaust manifold with hairline cracks and pinholes in the inlet manifold preventing easy starting and running. It's held up pretty well these past 4/5 years with JB Weld, but that's now breaking down.

For this application on a classic car, would you not be ahead by pulling the piece off and heading to a maching shop for welding?

On your question, I have used both products and I don't think you'll find much difference (in my estimation they are both excellent products for the "half-baked" repair. Best wishes!
