This stuff is the !!! I haven't tasted soda (pop) like this since I was little in the 80s! Now THIS is what soda (pop) tastes like. Not this high fructose horse urine stufff. This taste brings back warm summer nights after cutting hay. Mmmmmmmm. They need to keep making this!

Do these bottles have dates on them? This stuff was from a small run, that ended long ago.....Nevermind.

Just found an announcement that says it's back begining Dec 28th for another 8 week run. Good news for HFCS avoiders.

Yes, the ONLY sweetener in it is good old cane sugar. I don't see any dates on them. The only thing that might resemble a dare code is 378B-329 0000K0

after googling what it's all about, I will be heading down to the states for Fuel in the next couple weeks to bring some of this back! Unless someone wants to trade some used Pennzoil Platnium for this

wow, cool. I still have a bottle of Mountain Dew and Pepsi Throwback on my shelf because I wasn't expecting them to bring it back.

I liked the throwback pepsi flavor but the mountain dew wasn't that great. I don't like pepsi much anyway as it seems to go flat before coca-cola (at the same temperature, level of thirst, same mass of ice cubes, same hamburger meal containing the same 13% fat)

I wasn't aware Canada gets HFCS. I worked in a restaruant and the labels of ingredients on let's say Cake icing...not only are they in French but if the specific container can be exported to Canada it will just say SUGAR, and a whole disclaimer that if it's not SUGAR the USA gets it. We used both and when youd "lick the spoon" its too sweet regardless as it's icing.

I'll stick with my Mexican Coke that I get at Costcos made with REAL cane sugar, picked up a case just yesterday

Like Malo83, I roll with Mexican Coke. (I don't often drink coke, but when I do...) However, I'd like to taste sugar based Pepsi. I'm to young to remember the days when 'throwback' was 'normal'

Hannaford grocery stores here have had throwback since it was introduced last summer. Old stock? IDK. I have a huge cache of 12 packs I got for $2 at chinamart and it looks like I'll get more.

Sugar snobbery and politics aside I can barely taste the difference. Prefer Coke to pepsi (but not enough to decline a major sale stock up event) so the difference in two different kinds of pepsi is hard for me to sniff out.

PS I drove to Massachusetts last spring looking for yellow-cap Passover Coke.

Its back?!?!??!?

Im stocking back up! Great stuff- much better taste than any HFCS junk.

last time I bought 4 cases, this time... how long does soda last?

I'm with eljefino. I can't tell the difference, and I drink pop every day. The MD is a little different, but... I'll pass.

JHZR2,

I'm with you on stocking up again. We drink a coke 3-4 times/month.

The cans have a date on the bottom if memory serves me correctly. I'm thinking 6 months minimum but it could last 1-2 years although I'm sure the taste would be suffering pretty badly by that point.
