Has anyone ever seen people selling laundry detergent on Craigslist or at yard sales? There is a lot of this around here on Craigslist and on Facebook marketplace. Also drove by a house this weekend that had a big table in the driveway selling Tide, Gain, Persil etc. Is this stuff fake, stolen or both?? I just get mine from Costco or Walmart.View attachment 63298
I have noticed this too. Not sure what the deal is. I see it all over the place for the last couple years. We typically go to yard sales frequently and the Flea Market less.

they are getting it with coupons for next to nothing. My mother in law gets ours for us sometimes free combined with sales at Walgreens.
I think there are far to many people who have a large quantity for this to be the case. "Juan" who sells stuff at the swap meet at a booth, out of the back of a minivan, sure ain't couponing their way to that amount of stock. Cases or the stuff.

I think that much of it is either diluted, or fully counterfeit.

I would agree. Could also be either stolen, or they bought it in bulk somehow - like a store that got closed, but fake is likely. You can get any fake thing you want from China is my understanding - like cases of oil filters.

Don't forget if a semi is involved in an accident-and a pallet flips, (and just a few containers are damaged) or pallet is damaged due to forklift operator error, etc.,-the whole pallet gets sent to be resold as "damaged goods".
