Pentius silence on spec sheets

I reached out to Pentius a couple of weeks ago about spec sheets for their filters or ISO efficiency test results for their filters. I finally heard back today from Don Betz at Pentius in a reply that was a cookie cutter "We thank and love you and check out all of our great products." But no mention anywhere of anything close to answering my original question.

So I am feeling less enthusiastic about that case of filters that I just bought. (removed - MOD)

At this point, if you've already purchased them and like the build quality you've seen, I'd let it go and use them with satisfaction. If you haven't purchased them and the box efficiency info spec not enough, i.e., a deal breaker, move on to one that meets your criteria for that. Being practical, if I liked the Pentius and the price I'd use them. Here box info enough for me. That and generally speaking, I'm not keen on word of mouth or email efficiency info anyway. My.02

Yes I have never seen any other filter maker supply you with the type of test ran to verify filter efficiency on the box. In fact most of them if they even put it on the box they will say something like 99% efficiency but leave out at what micron and you find out it is at 30 or 40 microns.

I bought a case of 12 (6607 flavor) and have used one in my Mazda 3. Planned to go back to it after this run with the OEM filter. I cut open the last one and it seemed to be the same as a Premium Guard XL. Identical. I'm happy with them, especially for $4 each.

I'm still going to use them and I'm not necessarily concerned that they are misrepresenting the efficiency the way that Purolator has. But, it doesn't seem like that difficult of a request to fulfill when one of the lunatics from this forum emails you asking to see some spec sheets.

Fram references ISO 4548-12 on the filter box. Seen a few others too over the years ... but yes, it's rare to see ISO 4548-12 on the box.

Premium Guard has a reference to ISO testing. Not sure if it's on the box or website. That doesn't put me off regarding Pentius filters, though. Every cutaway review shows a decent and honest filter. The price is just a bonus.
It's on their website, and also in their Amazon store listings. The efficiency for the Carquest Premium is on AAPs website, and the efficiency for the MicroGard Select is on O'Reilly's website.

We’ve had better luck calling vs emailing. The efficiency was confirmed in this thread. When I called a few months ago the 99%@20 microns was reconfirmed.
