What is the improvement with XLF if any over the pennzoil premium plus? Is it a better oil than premium plus?

Developed for engines that are "seasoned" or have been in service for a few years, anyone know what this means or does?

Thanks

IMHO penzoils got the tcw3 line priced about according to what you get. Have rebuilt engines run on the plus and the 100% and both showed great wear, but the 100% was noticeably cleaner with less carbon. No experience with XLF, but would bet where it's priced in the line would tell me the most. "Seasoned" could be a marketing ploy akin to "high milage" oil? could be just to capture more shelf space? could have some more dispersant for old engine carbon?

Heres a VOA, that doesn't tell you jack, but I had saved it.

I am very suprised you have stated great wear with the premium plus. I have used it for 8 years now under severe conditions as I am a avid tournament fisherman. My motor runs great and has never needed any repair and it is as fast as day one.
