I am considering 10w30 for the "2 season, hot 8 out of 12 (months)" climate I am stuck with. I am in fluid dynamics heaven with this Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 in these mild winter (50s but for 3 months only) winter in the desert of the lone star state.

I am in heaven with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 in my case. I just pulled 200 miles in only a half a tank and the needle is very sluggish almost like it was stuck, I am pulling for +2 mpg for sure using this Pennzoil Ultra Platium 5w30! I might even stick with 5w (recommended by OEM but we all know its an average) and not move to 10w. This Dexos1 cert, I don't believe, is on the 10w of the PUP. I wonder if I will have to move to Quaker "Flake" Ultimate Durability 5w30 if I can't find "The PUP" anymore! I am going to miss the FE right away.

Two miles per gallon better from a different oil, eh? I'm still awaiting that error analysis from the addition of a cup of Pennzoil conventional. Now, you have a second error analysis on your hands.
