I know that QS has just upgraded their conventional line so perhaps it is still too early to tell. Many here have observed that Maxlife is very robust based on its add pack compared to other oils, but its also a High Mileage oil, so I'm not asking to compare it to a non-High Mileage oil. I want to know if Pennzoil Conventional and QS conventional add packages seems more robust when compared to some othe the other conventional brands out there.
Another memeber and I were discussing ash content of some of the conventional oils and Valvoline seems to have the lowest, yet you can't go by that because the add pack makes that a moot point. But we were also discussing how some brands might have anti-additives to offset on additive doing too much of one thing; thus, creating a deposit or faulty wear.
So basically, of all the conventional oils, do the Pennzoils and QS have the best constructed additive content?
