GM oil meter said 25% remained on the oil. BL said oil could go to 15,000. This would be consistent with the GM oil meter. Car is driven 90% highway. First posting too.

Thanks for taking the time (and money) to do a UOA and share it with us. And welcome to BITOG!

Gotta love that GM oil monitor. Did you add any makeup oil during this interval? If no, it will be interesting to see if this engine ever consumes oil as it ages.

My 2009 2.4L Camry didn't consume oil until I hit about 75,000 miles. Now, with 152,XXX on the clock, it uses 1 quart of 5W-20 every 4-5K miles.

Another great GM OLM UOA! I don't know if I would do this OCI with dino though.

My parents and girlfriend both have new 2011 Cruzes. I have no problem going along with the OLM with dexos1 spec oil in the crankcase.

Very nice report. Highway miles are easy miles and this report proves it yet again.

I'd cap the interval as it is right now @ 12k. Run another similar interval and resample to confirm the data.

I didn't add any make up oil. If I remember right the oil level was in the middle of the dipstick.

I changed from a stock GM filter to K&N at 30,000 miles. So the K&N has been in about 33,000 miles. I haven't cleaned it. I have blown it out just to knock out the bugs that seem to find their way to the filter. I live in a dusty area so the filter must be doing the job.

If that's a response to my question, I meant "long" as in time, not mileage.
