Kraft just started selling it here within the last few months. They brand it "Planter's," though.

Over the last few months, I have been trying all the available brands of conventional stabilized peanut butter. Skippy is the best so far, followed by Jif, with Kraft a close #3. Peter Pan is bringing up the rear of the list.

why do you prefer the "stabilized" peanut butter?

I ate tons of PB when I was a kid (didn't care what it had in it then - if it tasted good, I ate it, period). I loved how PB kind of melted onto hot toast. That'd be my breakfast - with a glass of cold milk - very nutritious - I then thought.

Then they came out with the *Fluffernutter* at some point, in the 60s I think, and I used to really like those too {PB and marshmallow fluff}.

People don't want to have to stir up PB. I stirred up a jar of almond butter a while back and it's kind of hard work.

I do also.

Take some roasted salted peanuts (2-3 cups), add to the vitamix and blend. Takes about a minute. Also good is almond butter or cashew butter. It's better than the best stuff in the store.

If that is considered hard work, then folks don't really know what work is.

The almond paste underneath the oil was like half hardened cement. Call it what you want to but I prefer whole nuts & seeds anyway, not processed foods.

Natural peanut butter is the only way to go...

The only ingredients are roasted peanuts and salt. That's it .

We even have store brands here that are still 18 oz and taste just as good as the more expensive national brands that give you less.

The Nutella in my pantry was made in Canada.
