I just bought the last 3 gallons of Peak Global Lifetime at Walmart for $7.50 on clearance; which by the way are in a blue container with a gold label. I need to get at least 1 more jug to complete my flushing of the deathcool [censored] out of my Blazer. I checked AAP & PB and they dont seem to carry the Global Lifetime, anyone know where I can get it, as I want to stick with a 99% non 2-EH formula cooling system.

thanks!

Yeah, get that Dexcrap outta there !! If GM wants to make a comeback, they should start by dumping that stuff and use G-05 as factory fill. Anything but 2EHA.

I totally agree with you! My moms '05' Equinox 3.4L AWD had only 10k miles on it when I opened the hood to find brown mud in her resivoir and radiatior on her. I found this after the dealer has done the maintenance and oil changes on it. Good thing I found this as my mom had them fix it. It took them 2 days to flush the system only to put that DexCrap back in for warranty. They arent foolin me! They bank on the fact of knowing that they will get 50% of future gasket and water replacement services from customers.

P.S. Honda is [censored] off that Saturn put Death-Cool in their Honda v6 Vues.

thanks actually picked up 2 Gold jugs at Menards for $9 a pop. Doing my Dex-[censored] flush tomorrow, gonna hit the resivoir, radiator, & heater core individually, wish me luck! :)

Pep Boys has the stuff in a black bottle, it's called Professional Lifetime, ingredient statement is the same.

I've had dexcool and prestone dexcool in my car for all 8 years. The only sludge I ever had was in the overflow bottle. It was a mess but the radiator looked brand new when i changed it at the 6 year mark.

And if you think about it, with all reports of Dex-cool turning to sludge when met with air, the radiator and engine shouldn't have any air in it, as yours apparently doesn't, but the overflow bottle is exposed to it and viola, you have sludge. maybe the reports about Dex-cool are true after all.....

That happened to be in a blue bottle, with flags on it, and only in 50/50 mix, right? That is what is still on shelves at most of the Wal-Mart's here.

Try Walgreens Drug. I purchased some from them last Nov. They had both 50/50 and full strength on the shelf at that time. It was the gold bottle 50/50 that I purchased.
