Peak and Super Tech - Mobil products????

I noticed on my recent purchase at Pepboys that the Peak 0W-20 bottles looked suspiciously like Mobil Super bottles.

On a visit to the local Walmart last night I noticed that the Warren bottled Super Tech oil was being replaced by Mobil shaped containers.

I'm in KY, and Super Tech has always been Warren in this area.

This may be a good thing.

Do me a favor: Look at the bottom of the bottle, and if it says WPP, WDC, WNE you have a super tech oil. If not, I dont know what to tell ya.

P.S. There is nothing wrong with using ST motor oil for 3-4k oci's

My friends swears by ST and only runs it for 3K oci`s in Jeep Grand Cherokee and Saturn Vue. enough that I even tried it in my Altima... so far so good...

Super Tech is for the most part either a Warren Performance made product with WPP or WNE on the bottom of the bottle or a Mobil product.The Mobil product is in a bottle made like the other Mobil oils.

Peak would probably be similar,the Peak I have seen is made by Warren Performance.

Both are by Warren....and I have a feeling it may all be warren soon...

Hey Motorguy, I also noticed that if you find the Super Tech oil made by mobil; the bottle looks the exact same as a mobil special bottle.
