Trying to gather as much info as possible on the PEA additve baeed fuel vs PO based and which would leave the least amoount of deposits. I am trying to obtain knowledge in hopes of deterring carbon build up on a VW TSI motor. I do have some sources out there that say yeah or nay, but want a census from folks on this board.

So, PEA's that I know of Shell, Chevron, Tecaco. PO's that I know of but not limited to: Mobil, 76, USA.

So, do PEA based leave Less deposits? or PO? or are they equal?

Let the debate begin

PEA is absolutely the best one to use because unlike PO detergents PEA leaves behind none of its own residue after cleaning carbon deposits. I don't think any other gasoline detergent can claim this even more than 25 years since PEA was developed.
