Password-protecting files and folders...

Can you recommend a utility to password-protect select files and folders on an external drive (USB connection)? Win XP environment.

Microsoft had a utility available free a couple months ago that did this. It was call ProvateFolder or something. They took it off their website after system administrators complained about it because it was designed to get around their system security. In other words they were unable to get into this folder on an employee's PC unless they had the password. I have the install for this if anyone is interested. You could also use NTFS permissions and encryption if you are using XP or 2000.

I believe only XP Prof has this feature. I'm using XP Home.

OK, so this MS Private Folder isn't really helping me because it creates the private folder on my C drive only. I need to password-protect files on an external USB drive.
