Parts+ PH2876EX used oil filter cut open

Off my wife's 2018 Fit. 5008miles on the filter with Valvoline Restore and Protect 0w20 over 10 months.

I wasn't warned that the oil change interval was up until the day before she went off on a vacation trip. All I had was an old stock Champ PH2867XL went on with a mix of 0w20 and 5w20 Valvoline Restore and Protect (finishing off containers). Will likely short run this then put on PG-based filter again and either a non mixed batch of Valvoline Restore and Protect or start running HPL at longer intervals.

Looks good to me. I wouldn't do a short change just because of the Champ XL. I had nothing but good luck with them myself, and am using up my stash without concern.

No reason to swap that filter ! run it out to next change .
