A number of years ago I bought a PC random orbital. Used it a bunch, but then stopped generally due to the hassle of the pads, the fact that some areas still needed to be done manually, etc.
Now that we have a minivan, there's just such a huge expanse of metal that I'm thinking of getting back to using a machine.
All my pads are Lake County (iirc), 4" size, and I've lost track of most of their status. I have maybe six or seven.
So I'm thinking of getting all new pads, if not a new polisher. I was watching ammo NYC on YouTube the other day, Nd saw a 3" unit that seemed much better in tight and trim constrained spaces.
So, recommendations on pads and polisher? Should I keep the PC set up for 4" and get a different 3"? Should I set up the PC for 3" pads?
Fwiw, my intent is an AIO and/or paint prep and then application of some wax/sealant.
Thanks!
