Overlooked Movies

I liked Flatliners.

It was a pretty cool sci-fi/paranormal movie, and it also had an interesting message about coming to terms with your past and forgiveness.

It grossed $61 million, so it wasn't a huge box office smash, so I guess this qualifies under this thread, although it did have Julia Roberts and Keifer Sutherland.

Here are some entertaining "little" movies. "Lone Star" with Chris Cooper, Elizabeth Pena good cast. "Dead Again" with Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson. The Mean Season with Kurt Russell. "The Gift" with Cate Blanchett, good cast.

Two movies I saw probably over 30 years ago I thought were decent back then. Shattered and another called Shoot to Kill. Oddly enough both movies have Tom Berenger in them. Shattered is a type of mystery movie and Shoot to Kill a bit of action. It also starred Sidney Poitier and Clancy Brown. I remember back then telling others about these movies but no one had heard of them. Remo Williams was another movie from the 80’s not many had seen. Today if I watched them I’d probably turn them off! Lol.

2. The Invisible

I would list some Tarantino movies but I kind of quit watching his as he insists on putting some inappropriate or disgusting offensive parts in almost every film, he makes. I saw two of them recently - The Hateful 8 and then Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. He ruined a great story in Hateful 8 with a disgusting side story that was not needed. The last one , Once Upon A Time in Hollywood was decent.
