Sorry to cause the commotion on the thread below. We simply had a large customer buy out our inventory and it put us in a bind for web orders so we decided to shut down web orders until we can fill up the warehouse shelves.

We tried for a couple of weeks to keep up but as you can see from the thread below orders were going out very late and we decided instead of having 1-2 week delays in shipments we would rather shut it down and get our inventory back up and reopen web ordering in late May.

We should have posted a notification and I apologize for that.

We appreciate everyones patience.

What are you doing to meet the increasing demand of your products? I ordered something called ca-40, because FP3000 is not available.

Working hard to meet those demands, but being a small 3 person company makes it difficult sometimes.

Question if I placed on order on the 21st of April, and received a tracking #. And the fed ex site told me i was going to recieve it on the 27th, but never did, is my order not coming?

Reading the first thread I can't get the image out of my head of a coup full of chicken littles running around bumping into each other exclaiming the sky is falling down.

I ran a small business for 10 years and imagine LCD might be going thru the same growing pains. At first it's manageable growth then you have a few years where it gets over your head maintaining the same staff to keep costs low but working extraordinary hours to get all the work done. Then you know you need extra help as low priority things are slipping but unsure whether you can afford it and question if the business is going to keep growing. I could go on and on but we all know they make a good product but have a tough time with shipping and inventory currently. You just have to understand you're not dealing with a billion dollar industry that has a 2 day turn around time every day. Hopefully they have a good business model and will make it thru the tough times.

Anybody want to sell me a gallon of FP60 then? LOL... another fill-up or two and I'll be totally out.

I did everything I knew to do to keep from responding to this. Walked away from the PC...took out the trash....fed the dogs....it did not work

I also have my own companies. Built them from the ground up over 30+ years. I guarantee you I never marketed beyond my capabilities to support my customers. Ever.Kiss of Death. Excuses are like belly buttons. Bottom line is LC is a 3 person company/great products and over marketed themselves. You say they are not a billion dollar company and that is an excuse...then show me where it says on their website they are a 3 man company and orders/info may be late or not forthcoming because of their limited manpower. OK. You make your own "tough times".....as LC has made their own "tough times".....so wishing anybody "all the best" after a fubar is not helping anything. My statements have absolutely nothing to do with LC having outstanding products and being aces all the way around in the good guy category.
However by "hoping their business model ( see where that got em) is "good enough" to pull through these "tough times ( they created) isn't helping anything IMHO.They solicited a boatload of business on this website...and have a fiduciary duty to communicate with BITOG members when there will be any delays or updates....and not just "Oh we are only a 3 man company."
Going forward I will continue to buy/support/spread the word on LC's great products. I will also ask they market/communicate within their capabilities. We all screw up. I have many times. But learn from your mistakes and others mistakes and correct them. Never make excuses and go on.

Growth is not a set formula. I've seen some companies with outstanding products go out of business simply due to growth. One aquarium air pump manufacturer, Silent Giant, was one such company. Great product at a great price. Orders outstripped production capability and they never could get on their feet to recover. The cost of doubling or tripling production was way too inflationary in terms of debt service for the capital expenditure ..and sending the added costs down the line made the product not viable in the competitive market. I don't even think that they sold out to a larger company. Others already had their own product that served the need.

They (LCD) already experienced the first growing pains. They were operating so close to the baseline costs to promote the product (get and keep the orders flowing to get the thing off the ground). They then landed some commercial accounts and found themselves in a pickle. They were too near the bottom line and could offer no more discounts ..even for bulk orders. So..they had to raise the retail price to allow their commercial accounts an edge over anyone else ordering. You can't undercut your best customers. This is the same for tires or any other item. Whatever the warehouse can sell it for ..their best customers can too. Now they're just swamped with too much demand. The price is right ..the profit margin works ..but they can't manage the troughput. Raising their price to accommodate the added burden may just make the product too expensive for the benefit the customers see in it. We don't know how much that figure is ..and it wouldn't matter if it was a 3 man operation or a 30 person outfit with all of them working 24/7 without pay.

We don't know the proportions or magnitude of the demands here.

My edit missed your post, Sarge.

Yup....success will often time kill a great little company quicker than failure. I just hope some of our/my comments may prevent that from happening in this case. Patting folks on the head and saying its ok....nobody learns anything and continues with business as usual. I'd hate to lose LC as I think they have a great product....and are good folks!

They weren't to busy to charge my credit card. But to busy to awnser the phone or send my order

Call your credit card company and file a complaint. They'll go to bat for you..

Or maybe just ASK them for a refund before you initiate a charge back. The credit card companies charge the merchant a significant fee for charge backs.

Any update on when you'll be in stock once again? It's June 4th and everything still says Out of Stock?

Maybe the merchant deserves that! I would love to try this stuff but I'm waiting until they have a better track record as far as simple things like getting your order. Call me crazy but if I get billed for something I either want what I ordered or BLOOD, lol. Take my money- I think not. There is no excuse for that period, they should have issued a refund immediatly without anybody having to ask. If you can't have accountabilty in what you do, then chose something else. I dont like it when a company has an excuse for thier actions every couple weeks. I hope they get it together, it's obviously a good product. In their defense it does sound like they never ripped anyone off, they just had some delays and other issues.
