2006 Ford F150 4.2 V6 bought 2 years ago with 240K as a spare truck... now has 278K..this filter has approx 7K on it with conventional 10w30 fleet oil. Engine runs good, little to no oil usuage between oil changes. Cardboard end caps and plastic inner cage..is this a fram ocod or ??????.

Previous Champ made O'R MG Ecore version. Not a board favorite to say the least, but this one looks quite good especially at 7k. This one looks to have relatively tight (and straight) pleating, which some compromised media ecores haven't exhibited.

Curious, how many months did it take to complete the 7k oci?

I find the "dirty" posts somewhat interesting. Isn't that what a filter is supposed to do, is to catch impurities and dirt? LOL.
I've run E-Core filters in the past in the STP, Microgard and Supertech varieties. While I won't go out of my way to purchase any more of them, I haven't had any problems with them.
Most of the latest Microgard filters are no longer an E-Core.

Tell that to webfors the OP of that thread, see what he has to say. There are other examples I could post but no need to waste my time, point made.

I get it though, tough to take when your blanket statement is proven inaccurate. Have a good one.
