Lateral traction is absolutely incredible. Best I've ever experienced. Straight-line traction is very comparable to something like a Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radial, which continues to surprise me, because unlike the ET Street, it retains that incredible traction in the wet, which I've never had a tire do before.

Ride quality is incredible. They are smooth and silent. They offer more damping than Toyo's and my winter Bridgestone's, while not being "mushy".

I'll post up some pics of them on the car in a bit.

Awesome. Even with 275 series rear tires and 4000+ pounds of meat I have significant traction issues in first and second gear, and it is always disconcerting to have a loss of traction on the 2-3 shift!

I'm sold. Thanks for all the input.

Steve:

Just an update on this, but I drove home from the cottage tonight (I've now got several thousand kilometers on these tires and they are wearing incredibly well given that I've done a fair bit of driving with the DSC off.... ) in a torrential downpour and I was in the hammer lane and they were evacuating water like they were Moses. I took the 30 turn that I normally take at around 100 at ~80 and they stuck like glue. Absolutely INSANE wet traction on these things, it blows my mind!

Looks like I've had no problem getting the summer out of the rears either. They've held up incredibly well

I know we sound like Michelin Fanboy Shills but I must agree. These tires are amazing in the wet. Fantastic in every way.

A couple of standout performances in the driving rains we have had here lately blew me away with a complete lock on the pavement. I was turning off the ESP trying to get things to play slippy slide and almost could not find the edges of the envelope!

Add to that they do not tramline or 'follow' road imperfections, amazing in a 275 section tire.

I have never gotten more than 20k out of any set of tires on this car, and I have had many. I would expect anything this sticky to wear away quickly too, so we'll just have to continue our testing...

I would put these on a 'stang if I owned one. My buddy is trying to talk me out of the CTS-V idea and into a Terminator, LOL! And if I got either car, these would be the tires that would go on it.

I wouldn't but a Terminator now that I have driven a new 5.0. The chassis refinement is so much better and the interior does not look like a carry over from 1994.

This is true, that the new cars are much "nicer", but I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Termi
