I actually went all ram_mann on them and ordered wheel covers.. just to keep the salt spray off the axle nut and open ended lugnuts. I actually prefer the steelie look but after a couple years of salt spray I wasnt liking the rusted stud ends, lugnuts or axle nut area. Also spraypainting white over black if you get any chipping it looks like a cow ... I am going to mask off the tires around and spray the scraped areas with super duper krylon semi gloss. as long as they dont rust I dont really care. I will probably hit it with scotchbright first then a microfiber with rubbing alcohol.
