I have decided to try another ATF besides Honda Z1 in my 2007 Honda Accord with a 2.4 engine. I plan on doing a 3X drain and fill. Of the three Fluids that I am considering which one would you try..... The new Mobil 1 ATF..... Redline D4 ATF or Amsoil ATF???? Any comments especially from Honda owners that have tried other fluids besides Honda Z1 in there A/T Thanks....

Here we go again... Hang on! Weeeeeeeee!! Any friction modified ATF that states somewhere in it specs that it's suitable for use or recommended where Honda ATF Z-1 is spec'd will work perfectly in your Honda AT.

In a year I will be doing this as well.

No point in dumping 1 year old Z1.

I will do Redline D4 one drain&fill and see how it goes.

Maybe add Lubegaurd Red if the shifts are too stiff.

If not move on and do another drain&fill 1 year later.

And another a year later and so forth.

Been using Amsoil Universal ATF in my Accord V6 (118K miles) for almost 5K with no problems after running Z1 for the first 113K.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Castrol multi/import, but I guess that's not Synthetic.

I like the M1 in the Highlander better than the T-IV. My Accord is a manual, so I can't be much help there.

I just changed the ATF-Z1 fluid in my TL at 1500 miles to Royal Purple Max Atf. So far great shifting quality and smooooth as buttah.
