Bottom line: You can bet Fram Ultra's double layer of full synthetic depth filtering media will trounce the cheaper paper blend Mobil1 uses. And I'll let you google yourself silly finding Fram's claims for the Ultra, or find Motorking's data yourself, your choice! Have at it.

Here ya go ... member paulri called Fram Tech Line and got some numbers.

Fram TG and Ultra Info

So zero ISO 4548-12 data.

ZeeOSix's links show 26g for the Fram Ultra.

Your assertion is > 56g capacity for the XG8A.

Who's foolin' who?

Here's where Motorking specifically stated 32g dirt holding capacity specifically for the XG8A model (post ##2652910).

As Sgt. Friday would say, just the facts.

So here's the math

(32g)/(28g) < 2 no matter how many significant figures you choose.

(32.0 g) / (28.0 g) = 1.14 or 114%, a full 86% less than 200%.

(I'm giving Motorking benefit of the doubt for 3 significant figures. Otherwise the ratio is 1.1 or 110%)

You forgot about the nearly double dirt holding capacity of the Fram vs. all the others. Use that high capacity as extra margin, or go two oil changes on the same Fram Ultra pro series.
State of the art in oil filters?
