Is it possible to open and edit a PDF with GIMP? I get all sorts of error messages......but it seems like one of them is asking for an add-in or something.

Help a gimp (me) use Gimp

Error starting Ghostscript. Make sure that Ghostscript is installed and - if necessary - use the environment variable GS_PROG to tell GIMP about its location.

"environment variable GS_PROG to tell GIMP about its location."

How do I do this?

Yeah I just figured out how to export to a .pdf.

But I'm still working it....

Are you asking if Writer can edit and/or modify PDF documents? if so, the answer is NO!

If you're asking if Writer can PRODUCE PDF documents as output files, the answer is an EMPHATIC YES!!! Just do File, Export to PDF from the menu and you'll have a PDF document that you can distribute.

I can change the file (add my name and ZO#) save as a .gif (.jpg gets weird) and some other bizarre file types. THEN open in Writer and export as a .pdf.

WOW man - you've earned my respect. Awesome help!! You are so quick. THANKS DOUBLY!!
