You can visit the trinity site on White Sands Missile range and see and stand where the first Atom bomb detonated. You can also visit the old ranch house where they assembled the bomb. Enter the gate off of US380 only open to visitors the first weekend of April and October.

The only way to see this movie as shot and intended is in 70mm IMAX. Any other format won't give you the proper image aspect ratio. You don't want to watch 'Croppenheimer.' There are only 19 70mm IMAX screens in the US. Here is the complete list:

This actually looks more like an election result (other than NM).
I got about halfway through Oppenheimer and had enough.
I found it boring and the constant switching between "present" and "past" with the switch between B&W and color to be annoying.
Throwing in boobies was not needed either.
I would not recommend it to anyone to see in theater (even at matinee pricing) unless you are really into this kind of stuff, and if you feel you "must" see it, wait for it to come to streaming or other online options.
And I don't get why adults are going to see Barbie without kids.

I think I will wait on all this garbage. I have not sat in a crusty theater since at least 2018, maybe 2017.

WAnt to see this movie when its available to watch at home.
My local Cinemark offered 70mm but it wasnt branded IMAX. I'm not sure how that was possible or allowable but it certainly felt like IMAX. Its worth the effort if you can find one for the immersion.
No they didnt. The ones who felt slighted and insulted were the only ones insulted. You should watch Indian news sometime, its a mirror image of a TV news station that became popular back in 2001.

Follywood attacking or making fun of a Faith? No way! 
Since I don't follow or keep up with the Follywood crowd, I had no idea who Florence Pugh was before this movie and only later found some info on Wicki after the movie.
I don't think those scenes added anything to the movie. In fact, I was comfortably taking in some scientific data from the movie when, when, when......Florence Pugh showed up.
So Opie had read or studied some Hindu philosophy. Big deal, so did my whole graduating class; in fact, our physics curriculum required we take three philosophy courses and one of them was, "The Philosophy of Eastern Religions."

“Fifty shades of grey” ok, you know what you are getting. But what does a sex scene add to a movie like “Oppenheimer“?
I support you saying whatever you want about it - it was more about the call for severe punishment that I objecting to here.

The movie is rated "R" so I expected some strong language in the script, but the Tatlock scene was unexpected. However, the main theme of the movie was about the life of Oppenheimer so his love interests would be part of his life story.
Look at the big picture folks and quit looking to be offended by everything.
In 1962, Leslie Groves wrote to Oppenheimer about the origin of the name, (Trinity) and elicited this reply:
The Donne poem included one Faith's concept of the 'Trinity' so it appears Oppe recognized the concepts of two different faith's.

Was there any mention of Oppenheimer being a Communist sympathizer? Or, losing his security clearance?
About half the movie involves his association with American Communist Party members (especially Jean Tatlock as well as his wife) as well as the nonpublic hearings over his Q clearance. It goes well beyond just the Manhattan Project.
Why I asked the question earlier. I don't mind the facts/truth. But Hollywood glamorization? No.
To see a movie about someone or something made by Hollywood is entertaining. Look how many famous figures Hollywood has made movies about; JFK, Churchill, J Edgar Hoover, Abraham Lincoln, etc., I find watching the movie and then reading an authoritative book on the subject or person afterward provides clarification-and is worthwhile.

Of all of the various documentation on the MP and various biographies I have read, I would say that Oppe was "alleged" to be a communist sympathizer but personally, I have never seen any proof that he agreed with communism or its goals.
Without getting into politics, which is not allowed, here is an historical point we cannot dismiss:
Colleges and Universities had been infiltrated by Communists and Socialists by 1920. Some professors and students agreed with some of the Marxist ideology and joined the American Communist Party. Oppe had to go to these universities to recruit the necessary expertise for the MP.
It was rather like this: I need to check the OBDII code that my vehicle is throwing. My neighbor, who has an ideological bent completely opposite of mine (and which I despise), has an OBDII analyzer but he is willing to come over and plug it in to see the code.
In my view, this was a case of "Dealing-with-the Devil" in order to accomplish a project. So in many people's view, if you associate with the devil, you are a devil.
I have never seen any data that Oppe would commit treason or betray his country.
In fact he was totally surprised that Claus Fuch's was a Russian spy. As later CIA records were disclosed, it was discovered that there were actually four more Russian spy's either transferring information to Russia or working within the MP.
