Open Bottle of PP. Question

I did my oil change in Early September on my 05 Honda Civic with 5w20 PP. The car takes about 3.5 quarts of oil, so I have about 1.5 left. I stored the jug in the shed, a few hot days in September went by, but I don't know if it would have effected the oil. Anyway, I have now brought it into the house and just have it sitting, normal house temperature. Will it be safe to use the leftover 1.5 quart combined with two new quarts when it is time for my next change, most likely around March?

No problem at all, just be sure the cap is on tight. The basement of my house looks like an oil cellar instead of a wine cellar. Good constant temps.

Thanks for the quick replies! Also, mixing with M1 shouldnt be a problem right? I have two quarts left

What would you recommend serving with with smoked salmon?

I'm not sure if I should go with a dark red ATF, or a light 0w20?
