One size fits all ATV/utv oil

I’m looking for recommendations on one oil to use for my ATV and UTV “fleet”. Trying to simplify my life and save a dollar. I have a 2015 Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT and a 2015 Suzuki King Quad 400. Both call for 10w40.
Criteria:
- I’d prefer a full synthetic but would consider a synthetic blend I suppose.
- I want value but I don’t want to spend $18 a quart and I don’t want some cheap garbage no one has ever heard of.
- Any oem brand or known oil brand is fine by me.
- I need 6 quarts for immediate use, if someone is aware of a good sale or close out oil I could scoop up that’s much appreciated

Motul 5100 is about $50/4 liter and is a really solid powersports oil. It's available on amazon often in same-day delivery or next day depending on where you are.

If you really need something today you can get Rotella T6 5W-40 at walmart cheap but personally I like to stick with proper powersports oil. Especially for an air cooled machine like the KQ400.

I don’t need it today by any means but both machines are due for an oil change. I’d like to stick to a powersports oil as well. Never really bought into the Rotella hype anyway

For what its worth I've been running 15w-40 Delvac ($15 a gallon) in both of my yamaha 350's for years now with no issues, but they don't have clutches in the oil. If you're need MA2 you should run something like the Valvoline.

I have nothing against Valvoline. Just seeing what everyone’s preferred options were. Every now and then the consensus from the crow will uncover a gem. I won’t be buying from Walmart though. Rather spend 10x somewhere else than give that outfit a penny
 
People often overthink these JASO applications.

Think of the MA specs as a broad range regarding the frictional requirements, and then the MA1 and MA2 as the lower and upper ends of those, respectively.

Many non-energy-conserving lubes which are API SG or higher would meet the MA specs.


I personally use Peak 10w-40 SM in my 2022 KingQuad 400. Not because I'm loyal to it, but because I got it for free and it fits my needs just fine. Not had one issue with shifting.

Spend 10x anywhere but Walmart is pretty much the opposite of your stated goal to simplify your life and save a dollar... haha

Locally? gonna be hard to do but ordering with free shipping isn't bad.

There's many other great options on amazon. Look up 1 gallon motorcycle oil and filter under 50.

Mobil 1 racing 4t oil is 10w-40, full synthetic and is only like $10 a quart at Walmart.
The Walmart near me usually keeps at least 4 quarts on the shelf.

This is an instance where principal matters more than money to me. I can’t stand what Walmart has done to rural America. Call me crazy or whatever but I just refuse to spend money with them
