I'm curious why a person of such exalted credentials would be wasting their time debating the virtues of motorcycle/ATV oils with lowly back yard mechanics?

So that I can teach others to avoid shade tree mechanic advices, the same that I do now in the Army Reserve. Do you know how hard it is to teach a 19 year old how to properly maintain a turbine engine? I have to tell them that what they have learned at Jiffy Lube do not apply to the Army. You kind of remind me of those times.

When the government is paying for the oil, why not shoot for the top, right?

Kind of like the $3000.00 hammer or $10,000.00 toilet seat mentality. Don't think I'd be too proud of that.

I'm not sure, but I think there's a bit of a difference between a turbine and an ATV engine. Hey, but you're the authority. I'm probably wrong......
