One bottle; two applications-- is this ok?

I had two bottles (24 ounces) of Auto-RX.

I used one bottle (12 ounces) in my '01 Integra-R.

I have one bottle (12 ounces) left.

For engine applications, you're supposed to use ((engine oil capacity)*(2))+2 = Amount of ARX needed in crankcase.

I have a 4.2 quart sump, which makes it about 10.4 ounces to use for the clean phase.

However, I also wish to do a transmission application. This calls for 1 ounce of Auto-Rx per quart of MTL. I have a 2.1 quart fill limit, so I'm supposed to use 2.1 ounces of Auto-Rx.

This leaves me in a bind, as this would require 0.5 ounces of Auto-Rx that I don't have.

I know I'm being anal, but which one should I skimp on

Yeah, that was my initial thought. Cleaning the transmission is a one-time deal, so I may as well not skimp out on it. I can clean my engine with Auto-Rx any time, and plus, percentage-wise, skimping on the engine per 0.1oz is less impactful than on the transmission.

I don't understand how the transmission can get dirty, so I don't know what gains I can hope for. The transmission just gets metal shavings which the magnet picks up, right?

What benefit do transmissions have from Auto-Rx cleaning?

Will clean the bearings, then the larger components allowing more EP adhesion and better bonding post cleaning. Will have a helpful cleaning effect of the very fine silt in the < 5 um range well as abrasives in the

I'm debating whether to do 100% Redline MTL or 50% Redline MTL and 50% Redline MT-90.

I'll look for other Honda users experience, unless you have a recommendation? I drive quite spiritedly on daily driving, and it will see autocross and light track use.

Logik, if you can hold your horses for a few more "days" there will be some of the finest ( affordable) lubes introduced by a company somewhere in the Midwest US that will blow away whatever MTL's you have used before. They actually have a formula exactly to fit the blended RL brew you are asking about.

We ran a recently posted developmental formula in a Nissan Transaxle with good results.

They also disclose more than any other company I have seen about what they use for components in the products, something BITOG folks will appreciate.
