On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.
That won't ever happen again !!
You may now return to your (normal?) life.

P.B.

I won't be around to see it either, Matt, but I will probably have an opinion on it.

P.B. (wondering what I will be in the next life)

If you are using a 2 digit year format, why wouldn't this happen every 100 years? The way I figure it, it will happen again in 2106. Using the 2 digit year format, that year will be written as '06. Thus, it happened in 1706, 1806, 1906, 2006, and will happen in 2106, 2206, etc.

Actually,

Shouldn't it be just like our numbers

YY/MM/DD

I mean we list numbers from largest place to smallest.

Thousands, HundredsTensOnes

So it should be YY/MM/DD

Dunno, but:

"At 03:14:08 UTC on January 19, 2038 (+231), a 32-bit signed integer representation of Unix time will overflow. Systems using a 32-bit signed integer Unix time_t will therefore be unable to represent that time, or any later, and will likely wrap around to 20:45:52 UTC on December 13, 1901, with integer value -231."

brian,
didn't John Titor come back from the future in a modified Corvette to get an old IBM computer to take back to the future to fix the bug ?
