Older Fram XG3614 cut open

Decided after three years and ~125 hours on Kawasaki lawnmower is time to change older XG3614. Looking at it I think this filter could have been left on there for another three years easily. Too bad Fram stop making those.

I was thinking of changing my zero turn Kohler’s XG3614 oil filter with 100hrs and have religiously been doing a drain and fill every season. After ur pic, I am doing it 200hrs. Thanks for sharing.

You welcome, I agree that filter could have easily gone 200 hours. It looked brand new after three mowing seasons.
 
A true OG Ultra with the leaf spring gasket. See a date code on the can?
 
I know its a shame Fram stopped putting those gaskets in. I'm not sure on the date code. Didn't think to look at it. I bought that filter around 2016-2017.
That sounds about right as the Ultras around that time period had the label style shown on this one.
